According to Radio Farda, Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary General, asked for disarming Lebanon’s Hizbullah and halt of the Iranian regime supporting it.

Expressing his concern of regarding violence in Lebanon, he asked Hizbullah to implement the 2004 UN Security Council resolution about disarming and dissolution of militias.

The UN representative in Lebanon’s affairs declared on Thursday: Ban Ki-moon is very concerned about the process of arming militias in Lebanon that may have the last year’s violence be repeated between Hizbullah militias and Sunni groups; Ban Ki-moon has asked Iran and Syria to cut their support of Hizbullah’s militias.
