Three toxic gas centers hidden by the Assad regime were discovered by inspectors of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
According to Western diplomats, the OPCW issued a statement saying its inspectors unveiled 3 centers focused on producing chemical weapons and sarin gas that the Assad regime had kept hidden from the United Nations. This case is to be evaluated by the board of governors of this agency in the next few days in Vienna.
Claiming to cooperate with the OPCW, the Assad regime actually attempted to deceive and take advantage of international laws. The revelation of these three chemical weapons production centers, never officially announced by Assad, brings about a major embarrassment for the Syrian regime.
These three toxic gas production centers were discovered by OPCW inspectors two months after this organization issued a statement announcing the end of the operation focused on transferring all such weapons of mass destruction outside of Syria.
It appears that after recent developments and a global coalition shaping against terrorism, along with not allowing the Syrian dictator into this coalition, Assad intends to use such weapons yet again.
In the past few days the Assad regime has pounded various cities with bombs and lethal sarin and chlorine gas-filled bombs. The Syrian dictator had been using these newly discovered centers to produce sarin and chlorine gas to be used in barrel bombs.
