Visits remain banned for political prisoner Ali Moezi

Hrana, 13 Nov 2012 – Political prisoner Ali Moezi held in Evin Prison’s Ward 350 remains banned from visits by family members and friends. Currently, despite the fact that Moezi was returned to the public ward 350 and his family members intended to visit him on Monday, he was told that the regime’s judge Salavati has banned him from any visits.
It is worth noting that Ali Moezi is suffering from cyst cancer and has spent 7 months in Evin Prison’s wards 209 and 240. His case is in the hands of judge Salavati, accused of ‘moharebe’ (enmity against God) and supporting the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran.
Furthermore, Ali Moezi was sentenced to 2 years in jail for visiting Camp Ashraf along with his family. He spent his term in Rajaii Shahr Prison in Karaj, west of Tehran.
