Mullahs’ parliament legislation: “Belief in and practical commitment to Velayat-e faqih” is precondition for establishing a political party and membership in it

Iran: parliament bill preconditions loyalty to Khamenei for any political activities
A year after Rouhani has come to office, a further step in suppression
A year after the deceitful Mullah Hassan Rouhani has come to office, the anti-human mullahs’ regime takes another step in the intensification of suppressive and through new legislation in the parliament on the condition to found political parties and groups and their political activities, makes into law this absolute suppression.
According to Article 4, paragraph A of the new legislation ratified by mullahs’ parliament the founding board and members of a political party should “believe in and have practical commitment to the constitution and the Velayat-e faqih”. They should also have no “record of punitive sentence”. This legislation prohibits the activities of political parties and groups prior to obtaining a permit and gives ample leverage to the government to revoke political parties’ permits. This paragraph was adopted on July 13 with a majority vote with only 10 votes against and 12 abstentions.
Before all else, this legislation that has no meaning but making into law absolute suppression shows the extreme weakness and fragile state of a regime that engulfed in deep internal and external crises is fearful of popular uprisings with a toppling character. Speaking in the grand gathering of Iranians on June 27 of this year, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, said: “Mullahs brag that 35 years of their rule demonstrates their power. Our answer is: Stop the executions and torture and then all will see that this worn out regime cannot even last 35 days.”
Since June 20, 1981, all dissidents have faced imprisonment, torture and execution and no opposition political party or group has had the right to exist. But today, through ratification of this law and emphasis on the necessity for belief in and practical commitment to Velayat-e faqih, the clerical regime is attempting to obstruct the least move for any dissent even within the gangs associated with the state.
After the mullahs’ sham presidential election on 15 June 2013, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance Mrs. Maryam Rajavi alluded to the criminal record of Rouhani and declared immediately: “Without freedom of expression and human rights, until the political prisoners have not been released and activities of political parties have not been allowed, until the aggressive policy of the regime continues in Syria and Iraq, and until this regime insists on obtaining the atomic bomb, nothing will change. The leaders of this regime know quite well that any serious change in these policies will lead to the demise of the regime in its entirety.”
