Presenting and collecting false testimonies, using murderers to conduct investigations, imposing pressure on courts and judges, and int’l shams are four rings of a Maliki-Khamenei style probe

The Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran in its statement No. 65 announced on September 26 that a 3-man group sent by Jamil Shemmeri, commander of Diyala police who led the massacre and mass execution in Ashraf on September 1, went to Camp Liberty to carry out sham interviews with a number of the 42 PMOI members transferred from Ashraf to Liberty. The chief of this so-called investigating group was Brigadier General Khales al-Tamimi, who is also Jamil Shemmeri’s deputy. Tamimi himself was one of the commanders of the September 1 attack.
Further reports from inside the Iranian regime indicate this was a part of a larger scenario, with the goal of confronting the increasing outrage of the international community on the grave crime against humanity in Ashraf and relieving the Iraqi government and Maliki, Faleh Fayyaz and other perpetrators and officials responsible in this crime of any accountability. In the next phase Maliki is bent on fabricating a number of judicial orders to steal and confiscate Ashraf residents’ property, valued at least over $550 million.
According to reports and documents sent by the mullahs’ embassy in Baghdad for the terrorist Quds Force and the Ministry of Intelligence, available to be presented in any impartial court of law, this devious scenario also has other rings to it:
Based on these reports one ring of this scenario is to obtain written testimonies, or provide testimonies in person before a government judge trusted by Maliki and Faleh Fayyaz, by the criminals and murderers that took part in the September 1 massacre. These criminals are individuals that the Iranian Resistance has announced their participation in the attack and their presence in the camp at the time of the attack is undeniable. This includes individuals such as Major Ahmed Khozeir, Captain Heidar Azab, General Jamil Shemmeri, Colonel Nahad and… Based on this scenario the common ground of the testimonies is to deny any responsibility for themselves and the Iraqi government, and to say they had no knowledge of the attack; they did not enter Ashraf; they only heard sounds of explosions; the residents opposed their entrance into the camp and ….
Another ring is to obtain a number of tailored interviews from the 42 PMOI members transferred from Ashraf to Liberty. A report on the first phase of this sham was presented in statement No. 60 dated 30 September 2013.
Another important ring is influencing local courts and using ‘trusted judges’ in Diyala Province to cooperate with Maliki’s fabricated investigations and confirm its results. Furthermore, they themselves are not to carry out any investigation independent from the police or other executive apparatuses, and if they appoint any person to conduct a probe their duty is to ‘independently’ confirm the investigation conducted by government agents. Finally the relevant judge will sign Maliki’s desired report under the pretext of an ‘independent investigation’ carried out by the Iraqi judicial system.
The forth ring, based on the reports sent by the Iranian regime’s embassy, is that officials of the Iraqi Government on international level and in foreign trips and when hosting foreign guests in Baghdad use this so-called report to wash their hands from this crime against humanity and show themselves angry from this crime and claim that this crime was against the interest of the Iraqi Government. This isn’t the first great crime against the PMOI at Ashraf, which due to the inattention or political reservations of the UN, has gone without being investigated and Maliki is given to opportunity to cover up the crime. Prior to this, at least 6 other crimes, each due to their scope, nature or motivations, fall within the context of crime against humanity and have gone uninvestigated; the massacres of July 2009 and April 2011 at Ashraf, the missile attacks against Liberty in February and June 2013, the psychological torture of 3200 protected persons and asylum seekers at Ashraf with 320 loudspeakers for some 2 years and gradual killing of 14 patients due to the inhumane medical siege.
Two and a half years ago, Ms. Pillay, regarding the April 8, 2011 massacre, announced that ” There must be a full, independent and transparent inquiry, and any person found responsible for use of excessive force should be prosecuted”, yet no action was taken and so we were faced with greater crimes. If the crime of September 1st is faced with the same destiny, without a doubt the criminal mullahs and their puppet government in Iraq will resort to a greater crime.
The Iranian Resistance, while stressing on this legal, logical and rational principle that the impartiality and true veracity of an investigation requires that the suspects of the crime not take part in it, once again calls on the UN Secretary General and High Commissioner for Human Rights to carry out an independent and through investigation into the September 1st massacre and mass execution and bring the criminals to justice, and urges them to not allow Maliki and Khamenei to cover up this great crime against humanity, relieve the villains of accountability and pave the path for a greater massacre.
