
A session was held in the Cergy-Pontoise north of Paris to reveal and condemn violation of human rights in Iran by the mullahs’ regime with participation of Mr. Gilles Paruelle, former chairman of the Val de-Oise Bar Association, Mrs. Olga Turbach, researcher and professor of Paris University, Dr. Saleh Rajavi, representative or the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in France, Mr. Mohammad Reza Rowhani, chairman of the NCRI’s Commission of Nationalities and a number of other members of the NCRI and members of martyrs families and supporters of the Resistance as well as French citizens.
In the beginning of the session, a short footage was shown about the suppression of women and youth in Iran. Then three tortured victims who had been released from the mullahs’ regime’s dungeons testified against that regime. Then Gilles Paruelle delivered his speech desiring the establishment of democracy and freedom in Iran in near future.
Then Olga Turbach delivered her speech, reminding the history of human rights, appreciated those who had resisted the crimes of mullahs’ regime.
Then the mayor of Cergy, referring to the changing developments in the Middle East region and the increasing pressures of the mullahs’ regime, said: It is the time that the human rights violation in Iran be considered as much as possible. He underlined his support of the Iranian Resistance and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran.
