The US military delivered 50 tons of ammunition to Syrian rebels in the northern part of the country on Monday, CNN reported.
The ammunition was delivered by air and in 112 packages, the report indicates. This is the new method adopted by the Obama administration to provide urgent support to the rebels.
All the packages were received successfully by friendly forces, a US official reported to CNN.
