According to Asharqiya TV, in a statement released on October 21, the U.S. Army announced that it had arrested 13 commanders of the special groups affiliated to the Iranian regime during two separate operations around Baghdad.

According to the statement, one the US Army units arrested three of special groups commanders of Hizbullah battalions affiliated to Iran. This operation was carried based on the Iraqi citizen’s information.

Also six other key commanders of the special groups who had been involved in a number of explosions against the citizens were arrested south of Baghdad.

The statement announced that another US Army unit captured 4 key elements of the special groups north of Baghdad. The arrested persons recruited individuals; they were trained in Iran and were supported with arms and funds by the terrorist Qods Force. They even received orders from it.
