According to reliable source, some 20,000 Iranians in Ahwaz, southern Iran, formed a 20,000 strong human chain on Thursday to protest the mullahs’ regime for redirecting and selling the Karoon River water. The formation of the human chain was not instantaneous and was announced in advance by a group of young people in Ahwaz. Hence the suppressive security forces tried to stop them, but not only the people disregarded the security forces, but also clashed with them forcing them to retreat.
Further information from Ahwaz indicates that the security forces therefore attack the crowd, but were repelled and faced a stiff resistance by the people.
