Keyhan daily, the known Khamenei mouthpiece in Iran, wrote a piece on Tuesday, July 14th in response to the media and officials of Hassan Rouhani’s cabinet celebrating the recent nuclear deal.
“Various media outlets and political figures have been inviting for celebrations for the past 2 years! They were also very thrilled after the Geneva and Lausanne agreements, but the passing of time showed they had jumped to conclusions,” this piece reads.
Mullah Hosseini, Khamenei’s representative in the city of Khomein, said we will stop any measures to celebrate the recent nuclear agreement, saying, “The nuclear agreement is a chalice of poison… and we should announce this day as a day of mourning. No one has the right to celebrate…”
