INTV, 1 Oct 2013 – Angry farmers of the city of Lordegan, south of Isfahan, staged a protest rally at 9 pm on Sunday night outside the Office of Agriculture in this city, located in the Chahahr Mahal-e Bakhtiary Province, setting the building on fire.
They gathered and protested the regime’s refusal to pay their insurance for the losses they suffered from drought. However, they set the building on fire since their protests went neglected. According to eyewitnesses over 70 percent of the building and equipment of the Office of Agriculture burned in flames before the fire trucks arrived at the scene.
