The Iraqi Committee in Defense of Ashraf, Iraqi Counsel in Defense of Human Rights and the Iraqi Council of Lawyers in Defense of Refugees issued separate decelerations condemning the visit by Ahmadinejad’s deputy to Iraq.
“The visit to Iraq by Rahimi, Ahmadinejad’s deputy, in this particular timing is aimed at completing the mullahs’ conspiracy to gain full dominance over Iraq,” these decelerations read. “Currently, these measures are taking place in the economic field under the pretext of capitalizing and initiating economic projects in Iraq, and to enforce hegemony and control over Iraq’s economy… We are warning against these measures.”
“It is obvious that following its embarrassing setbacks in the so-called ‘fight against terrorism’ conference in Tehran and the ridiculous show in the Iraqi Defense Ministry in Baghdad against Ashraf residents, the Iranian regime is in desperate need of such meetings under the pretext of economic relations to place a series of plots against Ashraf residents on the agenda of its elements and Maliki’s government,” these decelerations added.
