White House Press Secretary Jay Carney described the US stance against the Iranian regime’s meddling in Iraq, saying the US is certain of two factors: the Iraqi people and politicians have shown their nationalist views and this characteristic rejects the Iranian regime’s interferences in Iraq.
The truth is that the Iranian regime has failed time and again despite its consistent efforts to control affairs inside Iraq, Carney added. We will continue our work in Iraq, he emphasized, and since we are establishing the cooperation era with Iraq after 2011, we will be certain to also strengthen their sovereignty.
The White House Press Secretary also added the US will continue its observation and stance against the Iranian regime and its behavior, adding it is obvious the US has many methods at its disposal to confront this issue.
