Following rising tensions between Iraq’s central government and the Kurdistan regional government, Jabbar Yawar, Spokesperson for the Kurdish Pishmarga force said: “The Kurdistan government has information in hand that Ali Ghaidan, Maliki’s Ground Forces’ commander, has described the Kurdistan region as the enemy and provoked his soldiers for an attack”.
