By issuing a statement, the Gulf States underlined the need for isolation of the Iranian regime and announced, “the Iranian regime’s economy in on the verge of collapse because of its corrupt pillars and enormous nuclear expenses, Kuwaiti daily Asseyassa wrote.

The daily added, “The Gulf States, in their statement in the session, reminded that it was for the first time in Iran after the revolution that merchants of Bazaar in Tehran, Tabriz and Mashhad had gone on strike against the tax hike imposed by the Iranian regime, and added that following the fall of oil price in the world, the political and economic system of Iran has become shaky and unstable; since Iran’s imports is absolutely dependent on oil, the country’s economy is on the verge of collapse.
