Syrian rebels take control over Aleppo-Damascus highway

Syrian rebels continued their advances near Idlib, killed a large number of Assad forces and took many of their weapons, while taking control over a large portion of the Aleppo-Damascus highway, Orient TV reported.
Rebels near Idlib said 15 kilometers of this international highway has come under their control and this victory was made possible after taking over the two villages of Babulion and Salehiya. In these clashes a large number of Assad forces were killed and the rebels were able to take over their weapons and equipment, also forcing Assad forces to flee from the Hamediya, Sayad and Salam bases.
