The workers of Kurdistan Textile Company staged strike en masse in protest to the collective dismissal of the workers and standstill of the company. The striking workers whose number exceeded 180 announced if the order was not dismissed they would extend their protest and would stage sit-in protest along with their family members in front of the governmental organs.

According to the reports, these workers have been working in the factory for 13 to 18 years and they haven’t received any salary in the last four months.
