Deutsche Welle Website, 7 Jan 2013 – Six Iranian Sunnis have been executed in Tehran’s Ghezzel Hessar Prison.
After 4 years in prison, Kheirshahi, a Sunni clergy, was banned from teaching and practicing his faith.
Mullavi Abdol-Hamid, a Sunni Friday prayer leader in the city of Zahedan, southeastern Iran, expresses complaints regarding the status of Sunnis in Iran.
Sunni news sources and the Hrana website report six Sunni prisoners by the names of Bahram Ahmadi, Asghar Rahimi, Behnam Rahimi, Mohammad Zaher Bahmani, Keivan Zand Karimi and Hoshiar Mohammad, accused by judiciary official of belonging to a “Salafi group” in Iran, were executed in Tehran’s Ghezzel Hessar Prison on Thursday, December 27th, 2012.
