Al-Seyassah daily (Kuwait), Baghdad, 10 Oct 2013 – An Iraqi political source reiterated that the Jordanian intelligence organization during the past months has collected important information on a plot run by the two regimes of Iran and Syria, with the participation of Lebanese Hezbollah, to topple the Jordanian government.
This Iraqi source believes that targeting the Jordanian state by Iran and Syria is based on two pillars:
First – the internal unrest in Jordan will lead to the savior of the Assad regime in Syria, and as a result negotiations between Western countries and Syria can lead to deals to maintain Assad in power in Syria.
Second – However, the second pillar is based on calculations related to improving the conditions in Iraq because the toppling of the regime in Jordan along with continued violence in Syria remains an unresolved matter…
