
Iran, March 9, 2018 – Thousands of farmers in Varzaneh in the province of Isfahan, Central Iran, held a rally on March 9, 2018 to protest being deprived of their share of water by the mullahs’ regime.
The protesters parked their tractors on both sides of the road.
According to the latest reports the regime’s repressive antiriot police attacked the protesting farmers with live rounds and tear gas. As a result many of the protesters were wounded. The savagery of the regime’s agents was recorded on video. The farmers’ clashes with government forces continued for hours. Reports indicate that the people from neighboring cities have gone to Varzaneh to help their fellow farmers.
