Continuous and brutal tortures and an old bullet left inside the body from a 2-year-old gunshot wound has contributed to the pain and suffering of political prisoner, Changeez (Genghis) Ghadam-Khair. But the prison authorities have denied him medical treatment.
Despite the prison physicians to send him outside for professional treatment and surgery, the Masjid Suleiman prison authorities have ignored his suffering and refuse to send him to a hospital outside the prison.
A large portion of changeez legs have been infected and the infection due to the bullet wound has spread to the point that other prisoners are deeply concerned about his health.
Changeez was arrested 3 years ago by the IRGC intelligent officers. He was shot during the arrest, but the bullet has caused severe infection which according to reports is spreading to other parts of his body.
Changeez was sentenced to 40 years in prison during last trial in Sanandaj.
