INTV, 5 Oct 2013 – In Iraq’s Ziqar Province in the south Maliki’s security forces opened fire on demonstrators demanding retirement salaries for MPs be revoked. Five people were reported to be injured.
Anti-riot units opened fire, used batons and water cannon equipped vehicles in an attempt to disperse the protesters.
