Al-Malaf Website, 11 Sept 2011 – Ms. Ashwaq al-Jaf, member of the Iraqi Parliament Human Rights Committee held the government responsible for the human rights situation in the country. This Iraqi MP also added Iran is attempting to carry out inhumane measures in the Kurdistan region.
“Camp Ashraf residents like Iraqis are suffering from many pressures,” al-Jaf said regarding the humanitarian condition in Camp Ashraf.
“Due to the fact that the Ashraf residents’ case has become a political issue, international human rights organizations have neglected this subject,” she continued.
She called on “international human rights organizations to help Ashraf residents by providing all their humanitarian needs.”
