
The Iraqi people’s massive rally in Baghdad protesting corruption and calling for the prosecution of crooked officials continued on Friday, September 4th.
Al Baghdadiya TV reported in the first hours of the rally: Thousands of people have gathered in today’s massive rallies to confront corruption, carry out political and judicial reforms. These protests were focused in Baghdad’s renowned Tahrir Square… demonstrators were demanding decision for reforms, prosecution of corrupt officials and judiciary chief Mid’had Mahmoud to be sacked.
Demonstrators said they will continue massive rallies and gather in squares until their demands are, al-Baghdadiya TV reported.
