Workers of brickwork factories in Bukan’s Saroghamish district (west of Iran) have continued their strike since Saturday, May 21st demanding a raise in wages for each 1,000 bricks produced. These workers are among Iran’s hardest working branches of society and in some cases all members of a family are engaged in this field of work, lacking even the minimum supplies or insurance.
