Amir Abdollahian, Iranian foreign ministry’s deputy expressed fear of possible Assad’s overthrow. Iranian regime’s main Television station which was quoting him said: “The Arabic and African deputy of Iran’s foreign ministry insisted that Iran would not allow terrorists to overthrow the Syrian government. We warn Turkey and the US led coalition of any military incursion into Syria.”
Abdollahian added: “if the coalition makes the dangerous mistake and diverts towards essential change of political system in Syria, they would be faced with serious consequences.” He threatened the West be saying that America is well informed of our stance and any action from their side would have harsh consequences for them and Israel.
