Washington welcomed the wise decision by France for suspending the delivery of a helicopter carrier to Russia. Paris said on Wednesday the delivery of the first helicopter carrier to Russia has been suspended due to Moscow’s aggression against Ukraine.
Reuters cited French President Francois Hollande saying this measure is in retaliation to Russia’s support of separatists in Ukraine.
Francois Hollande’s office issued a statement saying the presidency announced the conditions of delivering the first warship to Russia have not been met.
