PRISHTINA, April 14, ATA – On Friday, the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi bestowed the Order of Freedom award to the U.S. Senator John McCain.
During a meeting at the president’s office, President Thaçi handed over to Senator McCain the Order of Freedom for the contribution he made for the freedom and independence of Kosovo as well as for his role in promotion of relations with the United States of America, as the eternal ally of Kosovo.
Senator McCain has been on a visit in Kosovo since yesterday and he has already met Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, Speaker of the Parliament Kadri Veseli and he has also addressed the Assembly of Kosovo.
