Student protests in three Iranian cities: recent reports

Tehran:
Students of Tehran’s Art University held a rally on May 9th protesting increasing tuition fees and also lacking adequate professors. The protesters also clashed with security forces who intended to disperse the gathering participants.
A group of female students in Tehran’s Shariati Tech School staged a gathering on Saturday, May 10th, protesting the name of their college being changed and the degrading value of this university’s degrees.


Kermanshah:
A number of students in Kermanshah’s Razi University protested college authorities for poor services conditions. According to other news from Kermanshah the employees of this city’s medical school protested not receiving their salaries for the past few months.


Ghazvin:
In this city college students rallied on Monday, May 12th, protesting the poor campus conditions, including serious problems in the transportation services.
