In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, Tariq al-Hashemi, the Iraqi vice president, warned against the continuance of Iranian regime’s extensive meddling in Iraq.

He said: Iran’s meddling in Iraq is deep, and this extent of meddling couldn’t be stopped by just a military operation already carried out.

Tariq al-Hashemi said: The Iranian regime keeps meddling in Iraqi affairs; we hope that regime revises its relations with Iraq and respects the neighborhood right; but to this moment, no sign has been observed regarding any change of stance of the Iranian regime.
