CNN TV reported that Ahmadinejad left his interview with CNN’s reporter unfinished and left the place.
CNN added that following Ahmadinejad’s controversial and contradictory speech at New York, he consented reluctantly to a TV interview. Ahmadinejad was held up to ridicule and booed by the students during his Monday speech at Columbia University.
CNN reporter asked Ahmadinejad what his opinion was on how he was dealt with at Columbia University, and whether he desired that he wouldn’t have gone to Columbia University.
Ahmadinejad answered: I don’t care that much about what the people said before and after this speech. Of course some events happened that I think was under the pressure of different American political groups and politicians. Of course I wish this incident would have not happened.
CNN added that Ahmadinejad’s interview was left unfinished. First Ahmadinejad agreed a 30-minute interview but later he cancelled it; then he said he agreed a 15-minute interview, but ultimately after our reporter asked the second question from Ahmadinejad, he suddenly cut the interview 4.5 minutes after its start.
CNN added: We don’t know yet why he did so.
