Al-Wataniya faction leader Ayad Allawi and Kurdistan Regional President Massud Barzani reached an agreement to form a partnership government.
“Allawi and Barzani agreed to establish a joint committee to follow up on political coalitions to establish the future government,” said al-Wataniya faction member Entesar Allawi. “They also agreed they will not accept a third term for Maliki as prime minister.”
