On Monday, Dec. 3, the British Foreign Minister David Miliband stated more than one billion Dollar of Iranian assets in Britain have been frozen. He announced this figure in response to a written query by William Hague, the conservative foreign affairs spokesman. He also detailed some more restrictions impose on Iranian regime.
He stated: the European countries are not obliged to announce the Iranian assets they have frozen in their countries but they are responsible to stop financial deals with Iranians mentioned in the International sanctions imposed on Iranian regime, and Britain has done so.
He also said Britain is looking for the ways to cut loan assurances for export to Iran.
