One dead and two injured by security forces at protest gathering in Rask

Harana, May 16, 2012 – following a gathering and engagement of Rask city (southeastern Iran) people with oppressive security forces, one was shot to death and two other were wounded.
The reports say that people’s gathering were formed after the security forces arrested Molavi Naghshbandi, son to Fathi Mohammad-Naghsbandi, the Imam of Rask, and some other prominent religious figures of this region. In protest to the regime agents’ measure, people staged the gathering and called for their release.
According to these reports, on Monday May 14, Molavi Naghshbad, Paroud’s Imam, and about thirteen others were arrested on unreal charges. Reports indicate that Rask and its nearby region are still fervent and unrested.
