North Korea has fired 7 surface-to-air missiles in the Sea of Japan, between the Korean peninsula and Japan, according to the South Koreas’ defense ministry. The missiles are short range and small. The US and South Korea are currently holding joint military exercises which North Korea has criticized in the past.
