Gulf Cooperation Council President Abdul-Latif Al-Ziyani said on Tuesday US Secretary of State John Kerry made a phone call and informed them of the nuclear agreement reached with Iran.
“GCC foreign ministers in their talks with Kerry expressed their hope that the nuclear agreement will be able to relieve their concerns on Iran’s nuclear program, prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and establish stability in the region,” he said.
“John Kerry is committed to the recent Camp David talks results held with Arab leaders. Both sides agreed to meet soon and have further consultation,” Al-Ziyani said.
