Dozens of Iraqi Kurdistan orgs and dignitaries call for release of Ashrafi hostages

Iraq-4-All Website, 11 Oct 2013 – The Campaign in Defense of Iranian Refugees Rights in Iraq, along with the international campaign requesting security and protection for Iranian refugees in Iraq – especially the seven refugees taken hostage during the September 1 massacre in Camp Ashraf – is receiving widespread support.
In this phase of this campaign dozens of organizations and political dignitaries, representing hundreds of dignitaries and organizations in Iraq Kurdistan, emphasizing on humanitarian and human rights values announced their support for the hunger strikers and their demands for the release of the seven Ashrafi hostages. They also called on the US government and United Nations to impel the Iraqi government to immediately release the apprehended hostage, and take action to allocate UN forces in Camp Liberty.
