
Ahmad Tavakoli, head of the mullahs’ regime Majlis (parliament) Center of Research expressed grave concerns on possible economic bankruptcy for the Iranian regime resulting from increasing international sanctions.
“If we don’t do something for the economy fast, the current conditions of the currency and gold market will take the country towards bankruptcy,” he warned. “The result will be lack of consent of the current conditions which have destructive political effects, especially before the upcoming Majlis elections.”
He added in his meeting with Majlis deputy speaker Mohammad Reza Bahonar he will discuss the Majlis’ duties in dismissing incompetent government officials in the economy branch, or discussing the fate of the government as a whole.
