The Center of Studied for Development and Human Rights in Iraq (CSDHRI) announced the European Parliament solution provides guarantees that will put an end to the disputes about Ashraf. Currently, the Iraqi government is faced with a test to unconditionally agree with the conditions of the European Parliament delegation’s plan for Ashraf.
Considering the fact that it has been proven that the Iraqi government lacks the competence to provide protection for Ashraf, therefore it is necessary for the US and UN to assure the camp’s protection until a final solution is reached regarding Ashraf residents.
