INTV, 23 Oct 2013 – Dr. Sofian Fouzi al-Khasawena, President of the Arab Counsel in Defense of Liberty Residents sends a message of solidarity to the hunger strikers in Camp Liberty.

“In the face of your hunger strike in defense of your rights, I am writing this letter to say that I am with you, a letter that has in it signs of your pride, glory, honor, perseverance and heroism. What you are doing with your strong and determined will is creating a historic epic that is unprecedented in modern history.

“During these days, you have endured much hardship that no one can. They murdered your brothers and sisters, have not given you their bodies, and for no crime they are torturing the living and the dead; you have suffered from hunger and the cold, and shown patience in the face of the heat and thirst, thus you are the best of the patient. Your passing of these tests proves that you are righteous and have a prophecy, based on which you have made the most valuable sacrifices. You have very easily given your lives to send your message, and with your wounded bodies resisted and struggled against the bloodthirsty murderers and the ruling mullahs’ regime and their collaborators.

“With your transfer from Camp Ashraf to Camp Liberty, you revealed that your enemy honors no commitment or agreement, and your enemy is the enemy of all humanity. He himself revealed his own crimes by committing the most vicious of murders and torture against you and your brothers in Ashraf.
