Popular Committees issued a statement declaring large demonstrations will be held in the Iraqi provinces of Al Anbar, Salahaddin, Neinawa, Baghdad, Diyala and numerous others on Friday, with the motto of “Our Iraq is One”.
“Large demonstrations will be held to condemn the policies of Maliki’s government, and calling for the release of prisoners and other demands. These demonstrations will be held across the country following Friday prayers,” the statement reads in part.
