The Iraqi Azzaman daily in its Wednesday print published an article entitled, “Intelligence indicating Assad, family fleeing Syria.”
Based on credible information from Syria, in the night’s darkness and when electricity was cut off, two military planes lifted form the Mazza military airbase, the article states.
According to this source, these two planes were carrying senior Syrian regime officials and their families.
