Iranian regime’s President Ahmadinejad was heading for New York amid a storm of controversy and angry protests over his appearances at the United Nations and a top university, Agency France Press reported from New York on Sunday Sep. 23.
One protester, New York state Assemblyman Dov Hikind, said: there isn’t any reason for visit of this mad man and small Hitler.
Member of New York City Council, Jim Gennaro said this is not fair they are accrediting to Ahmadinejad and the position he has stood for.
The visit has sparked bitter controversy in the United States, where the Iranian leader is considered an ally of Islamic militants and Iraqi insurgents blamed for the deaths of thousands of US troops deployed there.
