The International Criminal Court is continuing hearings on the prosecution in absentia of five senior Lebanese Hezbollah members accused of assassinating former Lebanese primer minister Rafiq Hariri. The special Lebanon tribunal, under Hezbollah influence, has not agreed to cooperate with this court.
Saad Hariri, the son of Rafiq Hariri, was present in this court and said in response to this issue that supporting the accused and participants in Rafiq Hariri’s murder, and not handing them over to justice, itself is yet another crime adding to the previous crimes.
