Around 500 Iraqis protested on Thursday in the central city of Baquba against the upcoming visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Iraq, an AFP (French news agency) correspondent reported from Baquba, Iraq, on Feb. 28, 2008.

“No, no to the Iranian regime!” read a banner carried by protesters. Others shouted “Sunnis and Shiites of Iraq are brothers, and Iraq is not for sale!”
