According to Al-Jazeera TV two Syrian refugee children died due to the wave of cold weather in the mountains east of Arasal city on the Syrian-Lebanese border. A medical source said one of them was an infant and the second one was a 4-year-old child who died due to lack of medical care and facilities. These two children were part of refugee settlement from Syria who have not been able to make it to major destinations in Lebanon. Thousands of Syrian refugees who have not been able to go to cities, have settled at these mountains without basic needs.
