Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jobeir rejected allegations made by Iran on the recent Mecca stampede incident and called on Tehran to refrain from politicizing this incident.
“I hope Iranian officials show more respect to those who lost their lives in this catastrophe and wait for the investigation results. Iran must know to not politicize this tragedy,” he said in a New York press conference after meeting his American counterpart John Kerry.
