Intruding Basij militants tried to harass couple of musician vendors last Thursday night in Motahhari St. Tehran a report cited witnesses as saying. The musician vendors were playing music to earn money for living, when they were confronted and ruffed up by the Basijis.
A number of youth present at the scene got angry and clashed with intruding Basij militants.
Other youth and passersby also came to the aid of the vendors and after disciplining and injuring one of them, force them to flee. The poverty stricken musicians continued to play songs in the cover of public support.
