More than 500 workers of “Akhshan Shiraz”, a factory which produces safeguard belts, gathered in front of the largely ceremonial city council to protest against factory shut down.
One of the protesting workers said although more than 500 workers were working in “Akhshan Shiraz” factory, but so far, no state organization has stepped forward to solve the problems and restart the factory.
The “Akhshan Shiraz” factory is the latest factory that is being shut down in a series of factory liquidations in Fars province.
The closing down of “Akhshan Shiraz” factory that is one of three safeguard belt producing factories in the country with 500 workers, shows the deep economic crisis in Iran ruled by the incompetence mullahs.
