Former Algerian minister calls to condemn and stop what is happening in Camp Liberty in Iraq

INTV, 3 Oct 2013 – Former Algerian minister and Senator Mrs. Anissa Benameur condemned the September 1 massacre in Ashraf and called for measures to protect Camp Liberty residents.

“Shame on the international community for their silence in front of the latest horrible massacres at Liberty camp in Iraq!
“Quick to condemn what is happening in the world, the international community keeps silence about what is happening in the camps of Iranian refugees in Iraq! 52 people were lastly coldly and callously murdered
“Iraq’s policy is being carried out in gross violation of humanitarian law, and is accompanied by the bewildering silence of the international community.
“What does the UN do with all the prerogatives given to it? Where is its power of intervention?
“We ask the UN to:
Put end to the extermination of women and men in Liberty camp perpetrated by Iraqi mercenaries paid by The Iranian regime
Identify ways to stop brutal and daily executions of human rights activists in Iran without any trial.
“No longer accept that Human rights activists are considered and treated as terrorists in Iran while they advocate freedom, democracy, respect, justice and enforcement of women rights.
“To reveal the real face of the Iranian leaders and the cruelty of the regime of the mullahs who use Islam to extend their hegemony and exercise in all impunity!”
